The best part of the Rainbow Tesseract Cassette is that their colors won’t fade with normal use! Please don’t subject these little things to hard impacts or fast speeds-- that’s just not what they’re built for. If used gently like the precious gems they are, the coating can last for years.

All Polymer Neoballs feature a ± 0.05mm tolerance, meaning that due to manufacturing differences between spheres, Neoballs and those who love them can count on a variation in diameter of at most 0.05mm. Don’t worry, you won’t be able to tell. We’re just magnet sculpture nerds who care probably a little too much.


Magenta Neoball Corrosive Resistance

Not susceptible to oxidation, rusting, tarnishing, and moisture erosion, this coating is very strong.


Magenta Neoball Geometric Tolerance

Okay shape and size consistency of magnets. The size variance of these magnets is ± 0.05mm. Currently, this is the tightest tolerance available for this style of magnet.


Magenta Neoball Impact Hardness

Some shielding to collision, scraping, hitting and dropping. These magnets will not withstand high speed impacts, collisions, or rough kneading without chipping or denting coating.


Magenta Neoball Abrasive Strength

Very good strength against rubbing, wiping, brushing, and kneading.

Almost Perfect

The colors are great - although it could be argued that there should be a bigger color difference between red and orange. And I understand that the coating is at thin as technology allows, but there's a noticeable difference in magnetic strength (since field strength is dependent on distance) between these and other non-polymer coated Neoballs. My suggestion is to make the polymer Neoballs a step above n35, say n38, to compensate. I'd be willing to pay more for them to have that feature. Those are my only suggestions for improvement.

Harder than it looks

I ordered my sets after watching a select few youtubers with their own creations. Unfortunately all of mine keep collapsing in on themselves due to the balls rolling while connected. I've found even building a small cube of 6×6×3 takes me hours on end. I've only messed around with them for a couple days so I'll likely enjoy myself more when I better get the hang of things, but right now it's kind of frustrating.

Coolest thing ever

I've had neodymium magnets before and I decided that I would get more. I wanted a lot to start with and I love the colors it comes with. I love putting things together and these magnets make it hard to put down. Definitely going to get more to make bigger structures.
