When you are ready to step up your magnet game, Zen is the way to go. Neoballs are fantastic for beginners, or those who need some color variety, but Zen Magnets are a must for anyone ready to build some serious sculptures. Our 0.01mm tolerance means none of your sculptures will be foiled by unevenly sized magnets. Due to our rigorous quality control process, Zen Magnets can only be purchased from zenmagnets.com
Version 2 of A Stroll Through Possibilities is a cohesive 36 page guide to magnet spheres. Amiable enough to serve an introduction, but a broad and refined useful toolkit that even veterans will find useful. Covered in the guide are: simple subunits, manipulation methods, platonic solids, and lattice types. As a chain of chromed magnetic beads, 216 Zen Magnets will measure over a meter long.
Don't be fooled by generic Chinese neodymium magnets, not all magnets are created equal. Our Zen Magnets are the most precisely sized magnets around, with our Neoballs a close second. We have fought hard to provide the highest quality magnet spheres available! Accept no substitutes.
Even if your only intention is to squeeze your frustration through your fingers, you will find a cluster of 216 Zen magnets to be a worthy companion, with the ideal harmony of resistance and weight. Knead them hard for a settling hand massage. Invitingly cold after a period of non-use.
The Triumph Set is a celebration of success in defending Magnets against a nationwide ban in the US, when all fell or fled. It’s the perfect gift for someone who’s intelligence you truly respect.
Resistance to oxidation, rusting, tarnishing, and moisture erosion. Zens are unmatched in their strength. A must have to take your sculpture game to the next level.
The shape and size consistency of the magnets. Zen Magnets have a diameter of 5mm, with a variance of ± 0.01mm!!! Zens= the flattest sheets and strongest structures.
Shielding to collision, scraping, hitting and dropping. Psh, don't even think you're gonna hurt these magnets. No better neodymium magnets on the market.
Strength against rubbing, wiping, brushing, and kneading. Knead your little heart out! Knead until you can no longer make a fist! Zen Magnets will outlive you.
Honestly, I'm so proud of Zen and their tenacity towards the CPSC over the years, and the Zen Triumph set is a testament to Zen's care of their customers, their product quality, and creativity with magnetic spheres.
I bought a triumph set several years ago at college. Since then I've bought two Mandala sets, a few gift sets, and even a few sets of micromagnets.
This is like a new art form, allowing you to experiment with creating things in a way that is genuinely new, and it's so much fun. Even if you don't wanna sculpt, they're excellent stress relief!
Enjoy, and beware(give in to) the Temptation to get more :)
What a great set. Beautiful and well crafted. The extras are a nice display, I bought this for my self. but would make a superb gift to the science mined tinkerer. Intricate yet relaxing to feel the cosmic force of magnetism in your finger tips.
Not only do they make a fantastically enjoyable product. And make it well. But they put their money where their mouth is when the government challenges them with frivolous regulations and lawsuits! Gotta love it! ^.^
Zen Magnets are, bar none, the single best tool I have when I need to refocus my mind to work on a task. I keep my Zen Magnets near my desk (no kids), when I'm working, sometimes my mind will wander. I can pick up a hex of magnets, and start fiddling; either running through some well known forms or finding new ideas. Within just a few minutes, my mind is flowing back on task, and I can focus in and get more done.
Then sometimes I'll pull out my whole pile, imagine a form, and try to figure out how to build. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose, it's rarely poorly spent time.
I have used my magnets with my nephew (supervised when he was younger, no longer necessary), a very good way to bond.
I also enjoy neoballs, and recommend them to anyone. I prefer Zen Magnets for the precision, but there are creative moments that just need some color.
TL;DR - For anyone who wants to reduce stress, find a creative resource/dump, have an art form with low setup/cleanup, Zen Magnets are hard to deny.
The magnets are as fun as ever, but the presentation is really top notch as well. The high quality bamboo box makes a great first impression. This is especially nice for gift purposes.
I love these magnets. They are such great quality I keep going back for more! They give me something to do and I've gotten all my friends hooked as well!
This is a great gift set or first time buyer set. These magnets are a very fun and stimulating pastime that will surely be enjoyed.
